Članovi Lire se duži niz godina zalažu za, i rade u skladu sa principima otvorene nauke. Naš cilj je da promovišemo otvorenost kao naučnu vrednost, ojačamo svest o etičkim aspektima istraživanja i učestvujemo u popravljanju replikabilnosti (ponovljivosti) psiholoških empirijskih nalaza.
U ovom poslu važni partneri su nam Centar za otvorenu nauku (Center for Open Science – COS) koji održava softversku platformu otvorenog koda koja facilitira otvorenu saradnju u naučnom istraživanju Open Science Framework, Psihološki akcelerator (Psychological Science Accelerator – PSA) – mreža psiholoških laboratorija koje su posvećene akumulaciji pouzdanih i generalizabilnih nalaza, Lajbnic Institut za psihološke informacije i dokumentaciju (The Leibniz Institute for Psychology Information and Documentation) – državni Institut za psihologiju koji pruža podršku naučnicima u celokupnom istraživačkom procesu, kao i Centar za promociju nauke kroz projekat Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI).
Članovi Lire poštuju i praktikuju preporuke propisane Platformom za otvorenu nauku. Osim što aktivno podržavaju i neguju sprovođenje dobrih naučnih praksi, kao što su preregistracija studija, otvoreni podaci, otvoreni materijali, otvoreni skriptovi (a što je u skladu sa zahtevima koje pred naučnike postavlja naše Ministarstvo za prosvetu, nauku i tehnološki razvoj – MPNTR, kao i institucije Evropske unije), pojedini članovi Lire se i istraživački bave evaluacijom novih istraživačkih praksi i učestvuju u davanju preporuka u domenu otvorene nauke, kao i u edukaciji akademske zajednice kada je reč o potrebi i principima njihovog uvođenja.
U duhu otvaranja i deljenja resursa, članovi Lire su pokrenuli projekat REPOPSI – Repozitorijum psiholoških instrumenata na srpskom jeziku, u kome je trenutno postavljeno preko 200 originalnih ili prevedenih/adaptiranih psiholoških mera, skala, testova i drugih instrumenata.
