Research interestsMy research interests center on mental health, with a particular focus on how adverse childhood experiences shape the development of psychopathology and criminal behavior in adulthood. I am especially interested in identifying protective factors that may prevent or mitigate these outcomes through an integrative approach encompassing individual, relational, family, social, and contextual, as well as physiological mechanisms of adaptation. I am also interested in developing structured, developmentally oriented interventions to strengthen resilience and improve mental health in at-risk populations.
